This long-talked-about TPB is something I would love to have. Those 80s Perez JLA issues are some of my favorite comics of all time, but somehow got lost throughout the years. Here is how I see the TPB coming together... since Crisis on Multiple Earths would take care of 5 of the Perez JLA issues (184, 185, 195, 196, 197), the remainders would fit nicely in a one volume TPB collection: #186 "Who Can Stop the Shaggy Man?" 25 pgs #192 "Quest for Genesis" 25 pgs #193 "Secret of Genesis" 25 pgs #194 "Destiny is a Stacked Deck" 25 pgs #200 "A League Divided" 72 pgs JLA Postcards 16pgs With a grand total of 198 pages. The only problem is that 1/2 of #200 is by other artists, but those artists (Broderick/Aparo/Giordano/Kane/ Infantino/Bolland/Kubert) did such a marvelous job and blend so nicely with the marvelous Perez pages (combined with the fact that this is one of the best Anniversary comics ever), that this issue would fit nicely in the Perez collection. It would be a crime to leave #200 out. Considering the excitement generated by Perez and JLA/Avengers, this book should be a priority for DC. I would love to see it as soon as possible. Your Buddy, Dave

Hey, Buddy Dave!!! Where you been hiding latley? (not that I have room to talk)
Don't forget all those SWEET covers that he did for issues drawn by other Don Heck and Chuck Patton: The Royal Flush Gang story arc, The Black Canary origin issues, the JLA/JSA/All-Star Squadron crossover, The Atom micro-cosmos arc, etcetera, etcetera.
By the way, whatever HAPPENED to Chuck Patton? The last I heard about him was that he did some design work on the G.I. Joe television show way back when (or maybe ir was Rick Hoberg...or both?). i think I'll start another thread on that topic.
