It is funny how inflation and experience works, huh ? That was a very young George Perez doing sketches for $5!! Since I get a LOT of questions regarding how much George Perez charges for original commissions, I should let people know that currently George's prices are: - $60 for a head sketch
- $150 for a full body
Prices through theartistschoice.com is a little more, due to a finder's fee

surprisingly reasonable for an artists of George's stature
couple of questions: how do I go about comissioning something online?
I'm heading to san diego this year, and george will be there. does he do commisions at cons? are they more expensive? does he usually get booked up fast? can I email him a commision request a week or so beforehand and then pick it up when I see him at the convention (a friend of mine, buzz, does that I know).
please let me know!

you can e-mail spencer beck at the artists' choice to get on george's commissions list. you may have quite a wait though. the $150 for the full figure piece is correct, i've never commissioned a head shot though...........
i don't think george takes advance orders so your best bet is to show up at a show he attending and get on his list early. for the marvel girl piece i had done, i saw him friday and had to come back sunday for it
