Yeah, the movie isn't for everyone... it's very faithful to Frank Miller's vision, so it's cool. I'm going to get the Sin City Deluxe DVD coming out in December.

Like I said: the best superheroes movie made so far. I loved it. I think Scarecrow and Ras Al Ghul made great villains. I just loved the fact that there are ninjas in the movie....

I think Hawkeye is going to die.
This is based on that Kurt Busiek, who plotted out the AVENGERS #1-12 in 1997, already had plans to drop Hawkeye off the book by the time #12 came around. If I was a betting man, I'd put the target on Hawkeye.

Nevermind, I found it under the Doom Patrol section.

Looks like the thread on Byrne/Cockrum is now re-opened. It was locked for a brief time. The Lying in the Gutter story re-sparked the issue and now more readers are exposed to this ...
I don't think there's a search option on DC's board, can someone send me the link to that ? Or just tell me what forum it is in. I am curious to read about DC people talking about John Byrne/Dave Cockrum.

Again, I don't want to insinuate that John said anything about Dave and then delete the message.... but here is an example of a post that was deleted on John's messageboard: vu.morrissey-solo.com/moz/perez/news/030729.htmI don't know who deleted the original message, but it's gone. It was deleted shortly after CBR reported the link and story.... Anyway, I have not personally read anything about John's statements towards Dave Cockrum (even good comments), so I wouldn't know anything

I'm not trying to suggest such a thing, but it's worth noting that John Byrne does delete posts that he doesn't approve and/or when he changed his mind.

Well you know me, I still do not understand what the Thor/Superman deal is. To me, it's not even a big deal, and yet we have all these fans crying bloody murder.... I think sometime it's a bless that it is Marvel "lost" against DC. I would think it would be worst if it were DC that "lost" to Marvel. Who knows, maybe we're all grown up and just accept the story as it is

If you follow things like when a book is drawn to when it is colored to when it gets sent to the printers, then it shouldn't have come to a suprise that it NORMALLY takes more than one month to complete the process. Someone was telling me that they weren't really expecting the books to hit stores until early April -- that is, even if George had finished drawing the last page on March 1st....
I'd say that DC is actually rushing it by trying to meet the March 31st date.

Okay, well I finally got around to watching the DVD (sorry, it's hard to schedule time to *really* watch a movie). I have seen Labyrinth before - on television a long time ago....
Anyway, I love all the little tricks - like the illusionary walls or the "I always tell lies/truth" guys.
But, what's the deal with David Bowie's pants ? He stuffs....

I kind of disagreed when they made Kingpin black in the movie Daredevil, but I think it worked out okay in the movie.
I think it's odd that Peter Parker could shoot web from inside of him.... That's just wrong.
