From George C to George P:
You've always been a good guy to the fans at the conventions and I know how much of a pain-in-the-butt fans and cons can be in general. Nonetheless, you always had a good sense of humor and positive attitude at the 3 cons I saw you at.
I'm sorry to hear about your current problems but it's great that you have a good wife by your side and friends, fans, and colleagues that sympathize with your current plight.
Bless you, George Perez! You've given so much good entertainment and good will to the fans over the years.
You are surely one of the few people in comics that I've never heard a bad word about and a heck of a nice guy!
P.S. -- I agree that medication stinks and sometimes that our atttitudes and moods get affected by it, but there's a reason for taking it. Please, stay on the meds and follow your doctor's advice! I know I do...!

Mr. Perez -
Sorry to hear we won't see you at SDCC this year. But, I am glad to hear that you have found a way to at least make things manageable for yourself. I'm am especially glad to hear that this is not related to your diabetes.
I was lucky enough to quickly meet Mr. Perez a few years back at SDCC. He signed an Avengers #1 poster for me and it's framed and hanging in the office. While I didn't want to interrupt his sketching, he gladly singed the poster. A true gentleman.
God bless! May you find the strength necessary to both deal with and heal from the psoriasis.
Best,
Omar Gutierrez

Mr. Perez, I, too, just read about your new medical problem. I just wanted to reitierate what the gentlemen before me posted: by all accounts you are a wonderful artist and a great human being. You've given your fans so much over the years, we all wish you nothing but the best. Please take the time you need to get this condition under control, and I'm sure I speak for us all when I say, we look forward to seeing you on the convention circuit next year. God bless and thank you for your art. Best, John McCarthy Communication Committee Musuem of Comic and Cartoon Art, NYC
