There is a book offered in the Feb. PREVIEWS for an Artbook entitled FAIRYLUST. Although I would NEVER buy a book with a title like that (yeah, whatever self), the introduction was written by George Perez. Does this count as a "George Perez" item to be included on the checklist?
And if Perez did the intro, the art could be a lot better than the title implies.
Heh..............fairylust.

I haven't bought PREVIEWS for a while now, could you send me a scan of this ?
Yes, this does count as a checklist item.

I managed to get hold of a Feb. PREVIEWS before the owner of the local comic shop threw it away. This is how it reads (It is also a "Featured Item"):
"FAIRY LUST VOLUME 1: ELVIN EROTICA BY MELANIE TP by Melaline Klegerman Fersko
Featuring an introduction by George Perez! This all-new book of illustrations by fantasy writer and illustrator Melanie Klegerman Fersko showcases the sexier and feminine side of these mystical creatures....
MATURE READERS SC, 64pg, b&w...$9.95"
Funny thing is, the cover image of the book has the title spelled as "Faerie Lust".

HA! I am vindicated! Many of the local patrons here in Tupelo, MS, called me a liar when I said that this book exists. Eat summa DAT, Tupelo! Tony, From what I gather by the description, Perez did the intro only; but, can the "Perez Completist" inside you deny the necessity of owning this book? I know that I sure couldn't resist! And thanks for letting th' whole stinkin' world know what a CRAPPY scanner I have ,Vu. Thank you SO much!

I know it looks deceiving, but I actually took a photograph of that page, the photo didn't turn out so hot.
Since all the info was basically the same thing, and you had already transcribed it, I just shrunk it so you get the idea of what it looked like (with the bold, blue "featured item" showing up)....
You know it's too early and I'm probably not making any sense.
By the way, I did talk to the writer/artist, and it's confirmed that George wrote the introduction. Apparently he's a huge fan of her work.

Thanks Vu Sleeper for letting me know about your site, it looks like a great place for fans. Being a big Perez fan since the 80's myself, I can appreciate it. Heh, I wouldn't say HUGE fan, if anyone is a huge fan of anyone's it would be me of him. George's work has been a great influence since I was first introduced to it when I was 12. His writing the intro is a great thrill, and such an honor. George is a sweetheart, one of the greatest perks of working in this industry is getting to talk with him and others I have admired and getting to know what great people they are. As far as George's involvement in my new book goes, he wrote a short intro (sorry, no art), It's very kind, and with how busy he is it was a great surprise and did I say an honor? LOL. Regarding the book's title it was not my choice (It is spelled `Faerie Lust'), but others liked it so I went with it. Heh, it is kind of funny in a campy way, I would've gone with something a bit more sophisticated myself but I appreciate the humor. Those of you who choose to pick it up I hope you like it, and can see George's influence on my style, when I was 13 he was god to me. I'm sure many of you can relate. Thanks again all, be well and keep on enjoying great art! Best, Melanie www.MelanieArt.com

I went to Melanie's site the other day and checked out some of her art. I'm glad I pre-ordered the book! sure, I wanted it initially to be a "Perez" completest; but, I was pleasantly suprised by her artwork. I especially loved the pencil pieces. Just goes to show, never judge an artist by the title of a book.
